The X22 irons have a thinner topline and a narrow sole, elements usually found in irons designed for low handicappers. There's also a polycarbonate tip plug that dampens vibrations at the end of the shaft, taking the sting out of mis-hits. The tour-inspired head shape has a slightly thinner top line & sole with a large sweet spot for improved aesthetics and forgiveness to boost player's confidence.
The perimeter weighting of the Callaway Lady's X-22 Irons has maximized for a moment of inertia (MOI) that’s 10% higher than their predecessors, meaning you get more forgiveness on off-centre strikes. The ideal centre of gravity position has preserved, generating optimal ball-flight trajectories.
